The 2024 Gila River Christmas Bird Count will be held on Saturday, December 28th, with a bad weather date of the following day, December 29th. Space tends to be limited due to the need for permits on private land along the river. Observing and recording birds at feeders is another option to participate for those who feed birds in the Gila/Cliff area. This is a great opportunity for beginner birders to learn from more experienced birders in the field.
